LOOKING AFTER YOUR PRINTS.

EYESURREAL.COM.

  • Looking After Your Prints.
  • All prints are made using Archival Ink from Epson and printed on the Epson 10,000 printer.
  • Archival Ink is the best of all inks avaiable to digital printing, it is resistant to U/V ultra violet light and has a life time of several hundred years or more if protectd and cared for properly.
  • We use high grade water resistant photopaper, water colour papers and canvas to compliment the quality of the archival ink.
  • The print surface will not be finished with a protective coating. We recommend one be applied with the finish of your choice according to the material of the print, canvas, watercolour paper, photopaper.
  • Do not bend the print as this will cause kinks or crimps that are permanant and almost irremovable. When your print arrives, it will be curled, it is importantt to let it go flat.
  • Mounting Photo Prints.
  • Dry mount onto a foamcore (tm) surface to ensure the surface of the print is flat and secure. You frame maker can advise you. All prints have a 2 inch/ 51mm border for the Matt and the picture frame.
  • Mounting Water colour papers.
  • Require acid free tabs to attach the print to an acid free board.
  • A professional frame maker will make the print safe from harm and incorrect archiving.
  • We also recommend an acid free matt to surround the prints.
  • This will keep the glass from contact with the surface of the print and enhance the setting.
  • Mounting Gi'Clee Canvas prints.
  • Have a two inch (51mm) border of plain canvas. This is for the stretcher frame.
  • A picture framer who understands the Ge'Clee process is recommended.
  • Formatting the Prints.
  • The Water galley contains more than one photograph of the same scene, the transformation of the water over the stone.

  • See the MENU under SEQUENTIAL WATER STUDIES.
  • COMBINATIONS OF PHOTOGRAPHS CAN BE USED FROM ANY GALLERY USING THIS FORMULA.
  • Minimum of two photographs to a maximum of four photographs.
